Renewable Energy: New Zealand - Indonesia Cooperation

New Zealand Ambassador to Indonesia, H.E. Dr. Trevor Matheson will give a lecture on renewable energy and the ongoing relationship of cooperation between New Zealand and Indonesia around this theme. Historically, Indonesia and New Zealand have been working together hand-in-hand in the renewable energy sector since the 1960s. New Zealand engineers were deployed to Kamojang, West Java to help build Indonesia’s first geothermal power station which was opened in 1983. The NZMATES programme is the most recent step in the strengthening of this relationship.

This lecture is open to invited faculty, students and other guests.
