Putri Anjani Hatuina

Putri Anjani, who goes by her nickname Puja, was a final year engineering student at Pattimura University when she joined NZMATES’ 3-day solar power plants (PLTS) training held in 2019. The training opened the door for Puja to begin her internship at NZMATES, Puja is now a Renewable Energy Junior Engineer at NZMATES. The training inspired Puja to focus on looking at grounding and protection at the Pulau Tiga solar installation for her final thesis, hoping that her final thesis would assist in solving the grounding standard issues for future PLTS in Maluku. During her training, Puja had the chance to learn about the basics of PLTS, batteries, inverters, health & safety, and was also introduced to HOMER and PVsyst.

Puja has recently received her bachelor degree, and would like to continue working in the energy and technology sector. She plans to continue her study and pursue a graduate degree one day. For now, she dedicates her time to helping the realization of sustainable renewable energy in Maluku through her work at NZMATES. A Moluccan raised in Ambon, Puja views her work at NZMATES as her ways to contribute to her community.
