Wean Guspa Upadhi

Wean Guspa Upadhi has over six years of experience in communications and media strategy. He began his career as a communication officer for Klinik Keterbukaan Informasi Public Universitas Islam Indonesia and has worked in various roles such as journalist, photojournalist, communication assistant, production assistant for the Asian Paragames, and communication and media officer in the non-profit sector.

Effective communication requires collaboration with all project teams, especially the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) team, as it is essential to highlight stories of change after programme interventions. With his experience as a journalist, Wean has established connections with several local, national, and international journalists.

As a Communications Officer, Wean has created numerous successful campaigns, social media strategies, and video documentaries. He strongly believes in integrating the strengths of narration and visual elements in both team and individual work. He understands that audiences nowadays are more receptive to visual media, which helps to uncover untold stories, document events, and create impactful products.
