Usep Nuraen has more than 10 years' professional experience working as a technical engineer in the electrical and renewable energy sector. He has designed and developed Grid Connected PV projects in Purwakarta, Sumbawa, Derawan and Radja Ampat, among others. With his long-standing expertise, Usep has also mentored Politeknik Bandung and University of Indonesia students whose thesis topics related to solar power energy.
As RETS, Usep responsibilities are to carry out technical assessments for potential renewable energy projects, grid-connected and off-grid, calculate economic costs for project budgets, develop long-term sustainable business models, design project delivery methodologies, schedule from conceptual design and detailed engineering to implementation and operation maintenance, tendering processes, as well as supporting and working directly with community engagement officers, PLN and ESDM.
