Renewable Energy Basics Training for Vocational High School (SMK) Teacher

As part of NZMATES effort to strengthen local renewable energy capacity in Maluku, NZMATES held a Renewable Energy Basics Training for Vocational High School (SMK) teachers on Thursday, 27^th January 2022. SMK 4 Ambon was the host for the training attended by teaching staff from SMK 4, SMK 3 and SMK Muhammadiyah, as well as a supervisor and representative from vocational high school sector, Ministry of Education and Culture Maluku Province. The training provided basic knowledge on renewable energy, including the basics of solar PV, micro hydro and wind energy. Given the COVID-19 pandemic situation and the new omicron variant, strict health protocols were followed throughout the training.
