Grace F. Nasya Masela (Nasya) has 10 years’ experience working in Non-Government Organisations, including Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, Programme Management, Capacity Building and Emergency Response. Previously, she worked with Wahana Visi Indonesia mostly in MEL both in development and emergency contexts. She has also managed health, child protection and participation, and livelihood projects funded by AusAid, Health Ministry of Indonesia, Zurich Foundation and Royal DSM. She has significant experience in capacity building for health workers, government staff and community health volunteers on digital child growth monitoring, building relationships with government, and implementing community feedback mechanisms in development and emergency contexts.

Nasya is originally from Tanimbar, Maluku but grew up in East Java. Joining NZMATES is a golden opportunity for her to contribute to the development of her home province. She graduated from University of Brawijaya with a Bachelor of Political Science majoring in International Relations. She loves to travel, read books and watch movies during her spare time.

Nasya is NZMATES’ Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Reporting Specialist. She is responsible for monitoring project implementation, leading baseline studies and evaluations, and facilitating reflection processes to gather lessons learned during implementation. She is also responsible for managing community and partner feedback for improving programme quality and supporting the Programme Manager to provide high quality reports for the programme donor.
